Interviewed on ‘The Smarter Science of Slim’ Podcast

I just met Jonathan Bailor in person for the first time on the cruise, but several weeks ago we recorded an interview for his Smarter Science of Slim podcast show.

You can listen to the interview on his podcast page, or on his iTunes podcast channel.

I noticed our podcast on iTunes is rated “Clean,” so I guess Jonathan didn’t ask my opinion of the USDA.

Nice interview with some inspiring stuff!

I’m really looking forward to that children’s book, especially if it has a companion DVD. My children love to watch the talking cells. My four-year-old girl saw a picture of the USDA food pyramid and got all excited – “Mommy! Mommy! I saw this thing in Fat Head!” Then she ran her finger over the base of the pyramid and said, “This is the sugar part.”

My first grader and I had the following conversation: “Mommy, Mrs. X thinks that eating fat makes you really fat.” “Well, who’s thinner, me or Mrs. X?” “You.” “And who eats more fat?” “You.” “So who do you think is right?” “YOU!” (high five) Children are open to logic.

Awesome. The sooner kids learn that not everything they hear from teachers or read in books is true, the better.

I see that Fat Head Director’s Cut is now listed on Amazon yet currently unavailable. What’s the scoop for folks who prefer an online download?

The Director’s Cut is being processed for download delivery systems, according to our digital distributor. Shouldn’t be long now.
