If you couldn’t make it to the low-carb cruise this year, you can at least watch the speeches online now. Terry and Pam Young of the Make It Fun And It Will Get Done website videotaped the speeches and just posted them. You can go to this page and click a speaker’s picture to watch his or her speech.
They also interviewed me during the cruise. The interview clips on are this page.

I really enjoyed your interview (I always do). Denise Minger’s speech is really great too. Lots of really smart people there that I’m really grateful for. Without them I’d still be fat, depressed, and sick. Hope you feel better!
It was a stellar lineup of speakers. Denise has amazing confidence and poise for a young woman.
Great little clips from you Tom. (As usual.)

Excellent interview clips. I wish it would be two hours long with subtitles for many languages.

Many thanks for sharing this link Tom. I have spent a very worthwhile several hours today, working my way through the presentations (still a couple to go) but I just watched the short Q&A interviews with you and very much appreciated everything you had to say. Thanks!
On the excellent presentations I just had to add that: when I read the blogs where folks are claiming the Carbohydrate->Insulin hypothesis is long dead, buried and largely ignored by “the research community” I can only shake my head and wonder what the heck is wrong with these people?!?
Cheers!
It’s certainly not dead as far as I’m concerned.

Regarding your apparent skepticism on global warming, check out the B.E.S.T. study done by Richard Muller (a previous warming skeptic) and funded by the Koch brothers.
To quote Muller: “These facts don’t prove causality and they shouldn’t end skepticism.”
I remain very, very skeptical.

I started reading the FlyLady’s (Marla Cilley) website about a year ago for her insights on keeping the house clean after several people recommended her to me. She recently had a link to Pam Young’s website so I went there to check it out and I couldn’t believe it when I saw your videos on there. So glad to see you showing up in unexpected places getting the word out!
Pam was on the cruise and asked if we could do an interview. It was fun.

Thanks, Tom, for posting this link. I just got back from vacation and I’ve spent the last two days viewing all the presentations, and they are top notch! I can use a few of them for my high school lessons in the fall – when I get to the biochemistry units. My wife and I are considering going on next year’s cruise. Hope your recovery continues to go well.
Definitely come along on the cruise if you can. Educational and way big fun too.
