Bookin’

Yup, I’m busy working on what I hope is the final draft of the book.  The goal is to have copies available by the time I leave for the low-carb cruise in late May.  Chareva needs time to draw, lay out the book in InDesign, etc., etc., so I have to wrap up the writing side of the equation — yesterday, if possible.

Well, I, for one miss those more frequent posts, but I’m rooting for you to get the book done. I will be one of the million copies you sell so you can retire from programming!

If I sell a million, I’ll retire from everything except blogging — and perhaps more books.

So…if you just started working for a new employer but didn’t think you’d like the job and had another interested employer–I mean, great project, how would you play it? Hypothetically, of course…

If I just started working for another employer? I’d probably wave bye-bye if I had a better project. But I’ve been here more than four years and I’m in the middle of a huge project.

Wish I could be cruising with you, but the timing is bad. Have a good cruise. Have a good book release.

OK, under the circumstances we forgive you for the short post. After all, even you can do only so much. Looking forward to the book!

I tend to take on too many projects, apparently thinking I can replicate myself. I’ve accepted that there are only 24 hours in a day.

Soon as we’re done with the book, I’m starting work on a film version.

I’ve been writing, too. I write screenplays and recently an option I had with a producer expired. A couple of other screenwriters suggested I try to sell it as a book. Up hill battle trying to change formatting styles. Some days I just don’t feel like doing it.

You need to split yourself into three different persons; one to work, one to rest and one to play.

    Hi Tom,

The number 1 health website in America (mercola.com) has used an excerpt from your FatHead movie in today’s article about saturated fat, but they do not seem to have sourced you at all. It is that great Ancel Keys clip. It would be nice if you could get some credit for your clever work.

No worries. I put that clip on YouTube, and I’m glad to see it surpass a half-million views.
